Privacy policy

Ven0mFrost is the online name of Youri van Hogeloon. I take your privacy seriously. This policy describes which personal data I process through this website, for what purpose, on which legal basis and for how long I keep it. It has been drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data I process

When you use the contact form, I process your name, email address, the subject and your message. In addition, the server records standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, in secured log files.

Why I process this data

I use contact details exclusively to answer your question and possibly start a collaboration. I use technical log data to keep the website secure and stable and to prevent abuse.

Legal basis

Contact details are processed on the basis of your request and my legitimate interest in responding to that request. I process statistics only with your consent via the cookie bar. I process security logs on the basis of legitimate interest.

Retention periods

I keep messages sent through the contact form for a maximum of two years after the last contact. I keep security logs for a maximum of ninety days.

Sharing with third parties

I never sell your data. I only share it with parties needed to make this website work, such as the hosting provider and, when you give consent, Google for statistics. Data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties and data is processed within the European Union wherever possible.

Security

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), strict security headers, rate limiting and modern password hashing. Access to data is limited to what is strictly necessary.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data, and the right to object to processing. Send your request to the email address below; I respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

I may adjust this policy when the website or legislation changes. The current version is always on this page.
